Hot Fun in the Summertime!

EC Fans, what a hot summer it has been so far and our shows have never been cooler. Last Thursday we had a great time with all of you at Down Under in Frisco which included tons of birthday celebrations. Friday we took the BIG SHOW to Sambuca 360 and set the all time record for bar sales and crowd. Way to make a statement guys! This night could have kept going and going.
This week we only have one public show for you all to catch us, we will be at Sullivan's Ringside in North Dallas on Thursday night so bring all your friends and co-workers out to make it count. EC Brings in July With a Bang!

EC Fans, what a week of shows! We started the week off playing on Fox 4 Good Day and it was a blast! We then had a couple of club shows at Sambuca 360 and a first time appearance at Sherlocks in Addison which was INSANE! You couldn't fit one more person into that room! Thanks for making us feel welcome our first time there. Our 4th of July shows had unbelievable turn outs. Kaboom Town on Sunday had over 500,000 watching fireworks and we played for over 50,000! It was a night to remember! We then played for the 5th consecutive year at the City of Hurst's Stars and Stripes Festival which is always a treat! We hope you all had a happy holiday and thank you for your support this past weekend!
This week we have a couple of public shows. Thursday we will be throwing down at Down Under Pub in Frisco and Friday we take the party to Sambuca 360 in The Shops of Legacy! Rockin' in the USA with Emerald City!

EC Fans, what a weekend of shows we just had and we are now prepping for our country's birthday celebration weekend. Let''s recap last week. Thursday we performed at Sullivan's Ringside and celebrated our guitar player Adam's birthday. Thanks to all our friends that came out to enjoy this fun evening. Friday we had a sellout show at the Glass Cactus in Grapevine. What an awesome record crowd. Friday nights will not be the same there anymore. See inset picture.

This week we have some special shows. Wednesday we will be performing on FOX 4 Good Day Dallas morning show promoting our 4th of July shows.You can catch us beginning at 8:30am. Thursday we will be at Sambuca 360 and Friday we make our debut at Sherlock's in Addison. This show will be standing room only so get there early. Sunday July 3rd we will be headlining the inaugural Addison Kaboom Town After Party on the Dos Equis Main Stage immediately after the fireworks show. This is open to the public and great family fun. Monday July 4th we will headline at the City of Hurst Stars and Stripes Festival. Fun for the whole family. Come celebrate Independence Day weekend with us EC style. Summer Heat with EC!

EC Fans, Summer is officially here and we have so many cool shows planned for you. Let's take a look at last week first. Tuesday we were at Memphis in Addison for a surprise performance. What an awesome dance crowd. You guys tore it up! Thursday we took the show to Down Under in Frisco where we had the place jumping from song one. What a night. Friday we went right down the road to Sambuca 360 and set an all time attendance record. Now that's what we like to see from you.

This week we return to one of our favorite spots, Sullivan's Ringside. Always a ton of fun there. Friday we hit the Glass Cactus in Grapevine. This is a special place for us as we opened up this incredible live venue 5 years ago. Make sure to make your reservations early as this show will sell out. Make your 4th of July weekend plans now. Emerald City Mavs Mania

EC Fans, we want to thank all our incredible fans that came out to the Dallas Arboretum's Cool Thursday Concert Series this past week. The event was once again officially SOLD OUT and we could not have asked for better weather. A special thanks to Courtney Arbour and all the wonderful people from the Susan Komen Foundation that came out to present us with a special award for all our work with their great organization. (See attached picture). Friday we were back in Frisco for what turned out to be the largest crowd ever in this cool venue. If you were there, you know what we are talking about.

This week we start off with a special Tuesday night show at Memphis in Addison. This is where we cut our teeth back in 1983 and we love coming back when possible. Thursday we are back at Down Under in Frisco. Make sure to make your reservations as this will be standing room only. Friday night we take the BIG SHOW to Sambuca 360 in North Dallas. Summertime News and Tidbits!

Hello EC Fans! Another great weekend of shows in the books and we had soooo much fun with you all. Thursday we performed another cool show at Sullivan's Ringside. While the Mavs took care of business in Miami, we took care of business on the dance floor. Friday we took the BIG SHOW to BIG AL's McKinney Avenue Tavern. This joint was hoppin' and Big Al took great care of us. What a night. Thanks to all you great fans that came down to hang with us. Saturday we performed at a celebrity wedding which was a blast!

This week we perform at the Dallas Arboretum for the Cool Thursday Music Series. Make sure to purchase your tickets now as this event will sell out. Friday we take the show to Down Under in Frisco. It's been a while since we last were there so make sure to arrive early for a good spot!

Memorial Day Weekend Wrapup

Welcome back EC Fans. We hope you all had an incredible Memorial Day weekend as did we. Our holiday weekend started off with a cool Thursday blowout at Sullivan's Ringside. We celebrated a lot of birthdays in true EC style. Friday we took the BIG SHOW to Pier 121 on Lake Lewisville. What an incredible turnout as it is every year and the dock was rockin' baby! A special thanks to Dee Lincoln and all her awesome staff at Dinghy who made sure we were well taken care of. In rare fashion EC decided to take off the rest of the weekend and spend it with family and friends to celebrate the holiday and honor our military. What a great weekend!

This week we have two cool shows for you to come hang with us. Thursday we will be back at Sullivan's Ringside where the elite meet to dance to the beat. Friday we will be performing a special show for a very good friend of ours; Big Al from KISS-FM. He has one of the hottest new clubs in Uptown, The Mat (McKinney Avenue Tavern). This place is going to be slammed so make sure to arrive extra early. Thanks again for making our shows so much fun and we appreciate every single one of you. See you at a show near you.

Memorial Day Weekend Updates!

EC Fans, another awesome weekend of shows and so glad you were a huge part of it. Thursday we performed at Sambuca 360 where the dance floor saw so much action we spilled over into the seating areas. What a crowd. Friday we performed at the 'til Midnight Music and Movie Series at the Nasher in the downtown Dallas Arts District. We did not let a little rain stop us from providing you what you came to hear. Thanks for sticking it out with us. Saturday night was a real treat. The Deerfield HOA Rock the Block Party. Thanks to all the folks from the Deerfield area along with die hard EC fans that came out to enjoy a beautiful night of music and friends. We truly had a blast and enjoyed hanging out with each and every one of you. This week we celebrate Memorial Day Weekend and the start of summer. We start off with a bring in the weekend party at Sullivan's Ringside. Arrive early to get a good spot. Then Friday the BIG PARTY everyone has been waiting for. We Rock the Dock at Pier 121 just outside of Dinghy's. This annual event is one HUGE crazy party and every year it gets bigger and better. The Latest in EC News!

EC Fans, we want to thank all our awesome fans that came out to see us at Sullivan's Ringside last Thursday. We had a blast performing a public show for the first time in 2 weeks. Friday we were in McKinney at the Rock the Inn event raising awareness and funds for The Samaritan Inn. Thanks to all that came out and made this special event a success. Saturday we took the BIG SHOW on the road again, this time to Fredericksburg, TX in the beautiful Hill Country. Take a look at the picture attached, what a fun bunch.This week you have three chances to catch EC, Thursday we are finally back at Sambuca 360 in North Dallas. This joint will be slamming as EC packs it out every time. Make sure to call ahead for reservations or get there early. The City is Back and Ready for May Action!!

We made it back all in one piece from our Texas Two Step Tour. We hit San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, back to Houston for three dates and back to Dallas all in 8 days. Whew!!! Thursday night we will be back at Sullivan's Ringside throwing down some killer dance beats and grooves. Friday we are performing at the "Rock the Inn"fundraiser event at the Cotton Mill in McKinney. This is to raise awareness and funds benefiting the Samaritan Inn which helps the homeless in our communities. Friday night we have a private show but our sister band Downtown Fever will be kicking off the Main Street Festival in Grapevine performing the prime time slot at 7:30pm on the Main Gaylord Texan Stage. Hot May Emerald City News!

Well May is upon us and we have already started off on the road. Before we left, we performed a great full show at Sullivan's Ringside. Plenty of birthdays on hand and the dance floor was never empty. We then hit the road and performed at a fun wedding in Houston. Check out the picture attached. What a fun bunch. The next 11 days are full of private events, taking us to Houston, San Antonio and back to Houston. We will be back in Dallas May 12 at Sullivan's Ringside so make your plans now to be there. Our sister bands Limelight and Downtown Fever will be performing public shows while we are gone. Thursday May 5 Limelight is at Cool River in Las Colinas. Downtown Fever will be at Sambuca 360 Thursday night and at Down Under in Frisco on Friday night. Make sure to check these great bands out while we are out of town. What a week of surprises. Last Tuesday we kicked off the 2011 Twilight Tuesday Concert Series at the Dallas Arboretum. We did not let a little rain prevent us from performing to the sell out crowd that braved the weather. What a way to kick off the series! Make sure to check out the video on our Facebook page. What a weekend. We had a great show at Down Under last Thursday and we were so happy to see so many great friends there. The weekend brought some really cool parties and we had so much fun performing for such great crowds. This week we have some exciting shows coming your way. Thursday we will be at Sullivan's Ringside belting out some killer dance beats for you. Friday we hit the road and head to Kansas City which always makes for a fun time, Saturday we are performing at the City of Allen Concerts by the Creek.This is the inaugural kickoff for this concert series and will be an incredible night of music and family fun. Sunday we are performing at the Taste of the NFL at Gaylord Texan Resort helping raise money for the North Texas Food Bank. What a Weekend!

Well another great road trip for us in the books. Last Thursday we performed a special encore show at Sullivans Ringside. As expected, our fans showed up in full force and we even had quite a bit of birthday celebrations going on. We have plenty of pics to show you on our Facebook page. EC Fans, what a great St. Patrick's Day weekend! We hope you all had as rowdy a time as we did. We started off the weekend with a BIG party at Down Under and BIG is what it was. A packed house and tent outside and lots of great drinking, dancing and all around fun. Friday we took the party to Cape Buffalo and threw down round two. March Madness!!!!!

Happy St. Patrick’s Week EC Fans. Let’s start with this past week. Last Thursday we performed a show at Sambuca 360 which just ripped the roof off the joint. Friday we took the big show to Down Under and had another incredible night. You could not move in this place it was so packed. Thanks to all of you for supporting LIVE music. Awesome!This week we have some special shows for you.
Pre-St. Patty’s Celebration at Club Memphis in Addison on Tuesday March 15. Come get your drink and groove on with us. Also help celebrate our stage tech Tony Floyd’s birthday. We love us some Tony!
Thursday March 17, The Big One. St. Patrick’s Day Blowout at Down Under in Frisco. This is going to be the one that gets talked about all year. They have setup a tented area to handle the overflow crowd onto the patio. They are bringing in specially brewed green beer and special shots and I heard even a leprechaun or two. Make sure to get there early!
Friday we take the BIG SHOW to Cape Buffalo. Let’s see if we can break our existing crowd record there. Come on guys; let’s leave a big mark on this one!

We have some special giveaways for you at all our shows this week. We have teamed up with the Dallas Vigilantes Arena Football team and will be holding special contests throughout the night at our shows giving away ticket packages for their upcoming game March 19 at the American Airlines Center. Another Great Week of EC Fun!

Hey there EC fans, last week was yet another incredible turnout of great fans at our public shows. Sambuca 360 as always was a blast and the crowds just keep getting bigger and bigger when we perform there. Friday night at Down Under was insane as always and with the weather finally turning in our favor, it could not have been a better night. Saturday we hit the road and headed to Tallequah, Ok where we had the chance to perform for our great friends there. This is always a special show for us and we loved every minute of it.
This week we kick off things with a show Tuesday night at Memphis in Addison. What a way to start off the week! Thursday night we bring the big show back to Sullivans Ringside. Make sure to call ahead for table reservations as this place is always a full house. The weekend is full of private events but for you brides to be, we will be performing a special show all day at the Unveiled Wedding Show at the Hilton Anatole Dallas. Super Read about a Super Week!

Well now that Super Bowl XLV is in the books, we want to give you a recap of what an amazing week that we had. We are so grateful to be able to do what we do and weeks like this prove that 10 times over.
We started the week off with the official NFL Super Bowl XLV Media Party hosted by the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee. We performed alongside the Old 97's. Wednesday was a private Super Bowl party but Thursday we performed at the Gift For Life Foundation event where Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett hosted. We performed with Grammy winner Bruce Hornsby. Tons of athletes and celebrities. We also performed at the NFL Pulse Awards hosted by Jay Mohr and James Brown. This was especially fun for us as we got to see a lot of old friends from the NFL. Fridays event was cancelled due to the bad weather we received. Saturday we performed on the Super Saturday Edition of Good Day on FOX 4 TV. Later that evening we were at the Best Party in Texas hosted by Carmen Electra and Mike Ditka. This party was really a great event as we helped raise monies for the Feliciano Foundation. Tons of celebrities stopped by to lend a hand. In all, we had a blast and have lots of pics and videos to show you. Check out our weekly newsletter for info.

Super Bowl Week is Here!!!!

Hello from Super Bowl Central here in Big D! The world is here all week and we will be your official hosts throughout the entire run.
A quick recap of last week. We had three great public shows to get you pumped up for the big week. Memphis in Addison was poppin'as always Tuesday night, Thursday at Down Under was especially rocking and Friday at Glass Cactus rounded out the trifecta with a packed house. Saturday we hit the road and performed a big private event honoring Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. What a thrill that was. This week, the Big Kahuna, Super Bowl Week is upon us and we are so excited about all our upcoming shows. Tuesday we perform along with the Old 97's at the House of Blues for a private NFL Super Bowl Kickoff Event sponsored by the Super Bowl Host Committee. Wednesday we perform a celebrity studded event at a secret location with some of our favorite musical performers. Thursday we will be at two SB events, The NFL Pulse Awards hosted by Jay Mohr and James Brown. Check out their website for details on the event and tickets. Later that evening we will be at the Superstars Event benefiting the Ron Springs/Everson Walls Gift for Life Foundation. We will be performing along with Grammy Award winner Bruce Hornsby. This will be a huge event as we have tons of special friends stopping by. Make sure to arrive early. Countdown to Super Bowl Madness!!!!!!

Well folks, the table has been set. It is the Cheese Heads vs the Steel Curtain in Super Bowl XLV. While we all wish the Boys would have been in it, the party continues. We look forward to so many great events and parties and we want to keep you up to date on all of them! Last week we performed in Houston at the House of Blues and we always have a huge blast performing there. Great road trip.
This week we have our pre-Super Bowl week party at Memphis on Tuesday, Down Under in Frisco on Thursday and Glass Cactus in Grapevine on Friday. Make sure to come check us out. Hot News in the City!

Great news EC fans, we have some really cool shows coming up that want to tell you about. First things first, we want to thank all of you that came out last week to our public shows at Memphis, Down Under and Sambuca 360. All three shows were just out of this world fun and the size of the crowds lets us know that 2011 is going to be even bigger than 2010. This week we are on the road performing private shows across Texas but will be back next week at a club near you. Check out our website or Facebook page to find out when and where.
Now, the BIG NEWS! February 1st we perform at the House of Blues for the NFL VIP Kickoff Party for Super Bowl XLV. This is definitely an honor for us as we kick off the biggest sporting event in Texas history. We will also be performing at some very exclusive celebrity events throughout the week all over Dallas/Fort Worth. Saturday February 5th, we will be headlining The Best Party in Texas, a huge Super Bowl star studded event hosted by Carmen Electra, Bill Rancic of Apprentice fame and Giuliana DePandi, star of E! Countdown to Super Bowl XLV

Our first week in 2011 came and went but not without a whole lot of excitement. First off was our 2011 kickoff party at Sullivans Ringside. Great friends, fans and lots of great dancing. We picked up right where we left off. Friday we took the BIG show to the BIG house. Cowboys Stadium, where we performed the pre game Samsung Football Fest at the 75Th Annual AT&T Cotton Bowl. We were right there in the throngs of LSU and Texas A&M fans. Nothing like the spirit of music to bring Tigers and Aggies together right before a big gridiron battle. Tens of thousands of people can't be wrong and we proved it by making tons of new fans out there. Check out our pictures from the event on our Facebook page.
This week we have three chances for you to see us LIVE. Tuesday we start off the week with our first show of the year at Memphis in Addison. This one is always a treat. Thursday we are at Down Under in Frisco and Friday we are kicking off the weekend at Sambuca 360 in North Dallas. Three great shows at three great venues. Also, we are performing some great celebrity shows for Super Bowl XLV all over the metroplex beginning with the hottest party Super Bowl Weekend, The Best Party in Texas sponsored by the Feliciano Foundation and hosted by Carmen Electra. It's A Brand New Year!

It's a brand new year and man are we stoked about 2011. First off, we want to thank every single one of you that came out to celebrate New Years Eve with us at the Hotel Intercontinental. That was by far the biggest celebration yet. We had close to 2000 people help us close out 2010 and we could not have asked for a better way to do just that. Make sure to let all your friends that did not attend on what they missed out on. Now that 2011 is upon us, we have so many great shows to look forward to and some exciting new projects in the works. Make sure to keep visiting our website for details on all these great events. This week we open up the year with our first public show at Sullivan's Ringside Thursday night. This is always a must attend show and the crowds are always ready to dance. Friday afternoon we perform on the Samsung stage at Cowboys Stadium prior to the game for the Samsung Focus Football Fest.Plazas open at 3pm. Whether you are an LSU Tiger or Texas A&M Aggie, there is plenty of entertainment for you. That is it in regards to public shows for this week.
