Emerald City Strikes Again!

Hey EC Fans, we had another great round of public shows this past week beginning with Thursday at Down Under in Frisco. The dance floor was packed from the first downbeat and never let up. When we plan a party, you show up in full force. We then took the show to Cape Buffalo where we set another attendance record for this venue. They are remodeling and building a bigger live music room and stage so we got to say goodbye to the old one in true EC style. When the new room opens up, we will plan a huge throwdown and make sure you are all invited.
This weeks schedule has us performing two public shows, Sullivans Ringside Thursday September 2 and we hit a new hotspot in Fort Worth on Friday September 3, Fat Daddy's. You have two chances to catch us live so make your plans now. We want to see you front and center.

The Party Continues.....

Well it was another event filled weekend for us. We started the party at Sambuca 360 on Thursday and what a start it was. A completely packed house and plenty of birthday ladies on hand. We then performed two private events, one where we captured our infamous Troblemaker horn section serenading a nice young lady on the dance floor. Her significant other was not expecting that. This week we bring the EC party train to Memphis in Addison on Tuesday August 24. These once a month Tuesday Summer Nights are just getting crazier as the heat swells. August 26 we are at Down Under for another Awesome Aussie Thursday throwdown. Make sure to get there early as seating is limited. August 27, we officially kick off the weekend with our Funky Friday Fanfest at Cape Buffalo. Make sure to give Deno a shout out, you never know, he just may buy you an adult libation.

Come see why Emerald City is the by far the most imitated but never duplicated band in Texas. It is the show that never ends!

Kansas City, It was Real.......

Hello again EC Fans. We are now deep into summer and the heat has just been brutal here in Texas. This past week we performed at Down Under to another great crowd that was looking to cool off with some cold drinks and great dance beats. Emerald City also has another road trip in the books, this time to the land of Dorothy and Toto, Kansas City. We performed at a corporate fundraiser out in Edgerton, Kansas at a beautiful horse farm there. We have a video to share with you below. We got caught in a pretty good storm at the tail end of the show but the crowd loved every minute of our infectious beats and sounds. We look forward to returning next month for another great event.
This week we have just one public show at Sambuca 360 on Thursday and the last performance was a complete sellout. Our suggestion to you is to arrive early if you want to get a seat. Otherwise, you are SRO.....Come bring in the weekend with us a this beautiful hotspot in North Dallas. Emerald City Band, Don't threaten us with a good time baby! Chow!

Emerald City Road Trip-St. Louis

Hello EC Fans, we made it back from another road trip. This time we visited the grand midwest city of St. Louis, MO. We performed for a beautiful wedding event held at the famous Grand Union Station Hall. This facility used to be the old rail station that everyone came through in the early 1900's when crossing the country. The artistic work and brass work in this place is just exquisite. The warm hospitality that we received was just great and the party was just over the top. We could not have asked for a better audience as the dancing just went on all night long. We celebrated Billy's birthday afterwards at the famous Maggie O' Briens down the street where we proceeded to let the shots flow....some more than others. Ha!

Now that we are back, we prepare for our only public show this Thursday at Down Under in Frisco, then it is off to Fort Worth for a private event and then again back on the road, this time to Kansas City for a huge private event there. We will keep you posted on more EC happenings, until then, here is a short video from our last performance on Friday at Cape Buffalo as well as some pictures from St. Louis. We received so many emails and phone messages from disappointed fans that were not able to get in and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Because we were not able to accommodate a lot of our fans at these venues at the last pair of sold out shows, we have been asked by management to come back and do it all over again. It took some doing, but we pulled it off and now you have a very rare back to back week of Emerald City shows at these two popular North Dallas live music venues.
Make your plans now and make sure to get there early. This will probably never happen again as our schedule does not allow for this. Don't miss out!
